Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, there are challenges in organizing internship for the students completing the taught components of the MICD Programme. Due to the fear of contagion, many organisations have restricted visits to their offices even to their own staff; and chances are very slim in development organisations accepting new and external people in their offices. Moreover, the MICD Team itself doesn’t want to expose students to such contagion by sending them to other organisations frequently. Instead of the internship, therefore, students will be engaged this year in the Project Analysis Work involving analysis of policies and practices of pertinent development issues. The Internship/ Project Analysis Work has a weightage of a total of 10 Credit Hours (300 learning hours). It is designed to inculcate motivation among students to learn new professional skills as well as to develop the capacity to lead and work in groups to complete assigned policy analysis tasks.
